Abbeyglen - Traditional Irish plaids with an original rustic feel
Our Abbeyglen range takes its name from one of Ireland’s most magnificent castles located on the romantic Celtic west coast. Warm and welcoming, these five sumptuous plaids celebrate distinctive Irish tartan design, with each of the individual patterns staying true to the named counties of ; Cavan, Fermanagh, Leitrim, Tyrone and Wexford. Each plaid features colours that naturally endow the collection with a rich organic quality.
Abbeyglen plaids are woven to produce a unique ground that simulates a handcrafted texture, creating a sumptuous and luxurious appearance. Created in colours which reflect the delicate shades of Ireland’s soft vegetable colours of old.
Abbeyglen’s warm and sophisticated tones, range from the more traditional soft greens, golds and rusts as well as using current trend colours such as soft grey, purple, mulberry and rich chocolate browns.
