Think of places like Marrakesh and your senses instantly awaken to spice markets, deserts, jewels and the rich, gold tapestry of this striking city. Infusions of traditional Moroccan patterns and rich spices combine with more rustic pieces to create warmth and energy in an interior.

Mustard yellows and terracottas all look amazing when illuminated in the sunshine and we predict these shades will be around for a few seasons so don’t worry about experimenting with metallics, dark blue or jade tones whilst embracing the trend for ochres and camel. Tassels, prints and textures in lively colours work well in this scheme and you can accessorise your space with pounded metal trays and bowls, a Moroccan style pouffe or floor cushions. Anything that instantly brightens your room and makes it feel like summer is inside your home will work.
